Balboa Park

Science Museum

After the Zoo, Kari and I took the little kids to Balboa Park and walked up and down the plaza.  It was really neat to see all the different displays and performers.  The kids loved the science museum and we spent a long time exploring all the in's and out's.

We followed up a fun day with a refreshing swim in the resort pool!

We spent a day at Legoland which maybe one of our new favorite places.  

Worldmark Las Vegas

On our way to meet up with the Warners in San Diego for a fun filled week at the Oceanside Resort, we stopped in Las Vegas to break up the drive.  This worldmark is amazing!  It was much like a cruise ship on land without the buffets.  But Michelle assured us that we could go down the street and find some if we were really interested.  There were 3 pools and a lazy river that the kids LOVED!  Not just the kids, I LOVED!  It was perfect weather to enjoy the sun and water and escape from the snow at home!

Moments with Macy

Macy came and spent some time with us while her family was down visiting.  She and Lindsey had so much fun cooking, playing, building tents and laughing.
