Lindsey was thrilled to sign up for soccer this year. After getting her uniform, she wanted me to take a picture of her and Kyle and Megan - all in their uniforms. I think she is happy to be a participant rather than a spectator. She wanted to call everyone she knew to come and watch. I let her call Grandma Warner, but thought all the cousins, aunts and uncles and out of town family might not be able to make it - even thought she thought they would relish the opportunity. Kyle always has a goal to make so many points a game and Lindsey optimistically decided 5 goals was a good goal for her (I don't think she has played a game yet this season that has ended with 5 points total). Bruce suggested she start with one. She did make one goal at one of her first games and got to go to McDonald and buy a happy meal to celebrate. The weather has been so unpredictable that probably 1/2 her games have been cancelled due to rain or snow so she will have a long season and lots of practice. There is a clinic this weekend. She commented that she doesn't need to go because she "already knows how to play soccer". At least she is confident!

Tyson's Cub Scouts!
Tyson earned his readyman pin, his bear badge and his wolf badge at the last pack meeting. He was quite excited to go up and get his awards. The bear and wolf badge were each in a seperate balloon that he had to pop to get the award. It was a hit! Afterwards the cub scouts went outside to play games. The leaders and the boys are good with Tyse and try to include him. He loves being a part and now loves to wear his shirt.

Our Fine China
Meg, Kyle, Liz and I all went to Color Me Mine and made personalized plates. I already had one from Greg so I made one for Tyson and Kyle gave his old one to Bruce. This is our celebration dinner with our new dinnerware.

Easter
We had easter dinner at our house. Bruce insisted on all the traditional fixins' and we baked away. We had an easter egg hunt following dinner for the kids. The only problem was that they would look inside and if they didn't like the choice they would put it back and find something they liked better. All eggs were not created equal and problems ensued. That aside, we had a great time visiting, eating, and playing.

Tyson's Birthday Party
Bob threw Tyse his annual bounce house party! He is so generous to do this for Tyse each year and Tyse loves it! The weather finally cooperated after many rainy days. We jumped and played until dark, had lots of ball throwing wars with Bob and Grandpa Warner, had unlimited snow cones, ate pizza and had cake. It was a great day and everyone had a fantastic time! Thanks Bob!
