Gone Fishin'

Bruce entered a silent auction for a guided fishing trip at a MD dinner we attended a few months back.  Monday, they met up with the guide and went up Spanish Fork Canyon to spend the day fly fishing.  Bruce said the guide was great.  Bruce caught 3 and Kyle 1 (although he had 2 others on the line that "got away").   They had a great day!  Kyle is hooked and requesting fishing gear for Christmas!

Sweet 16!

How did this happen? How did that cute little girls with curly hair, that sang and danced in the ovens reflection and recited nursery rhymes get to be 16? Unbelievable. But it is what it is, so we surprised Megan with a family birthday party. We had to move up the date because Bruce had purchased the tickets for her actual birthday and she had volleyball practice that she didn't want to miss so we traded them in for Saturday morning. We took the family to Kneaders for all you can eat french toast and then to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat at the Hale Theatre! It was awesome. Tyse was mesmerized and almost as fun to watch as the show. It was a great morning. Happy Birthday Meg! We love you!

Kyle's Corn

Great-Grandpa Olsen and Great-Grandpa Gwilliam would both be proud of Kyle's garden. He grew corn and sunflowers and has just harvested his corn. Brad said it couldn't be done, but Kyle's green thumb proved him wrong!
