Working the the Yard

To finish up Kyle's family life merit badge, he needed to plan and organize a family work project.  He talked to grandpa and got a list of needs and the family went to work.  We fixed the fence, cut down some trees, took down the Christmas lights (Liz was thrilled to get on the roof), clean out the gutters, took down Christmas, raked leaves and clean around the spa.

New Years Eve

We celebrated New Years early this year.  We love Grandma's traditions and she was good enough to move up the party so that we could attend.  We had the traditional New Years Eve feast of little hot dogs, mini pizzas, confetti salad...  The big kids played games, and I went out to the hot tub with the youngest 3 where we played a mean game of truth and dare.  Lindsey and Logan were running around doing all sorts of crazy feats.  After hot tubing, we brought in the new year with noisemakers and streamers.  Logan and Lindsey ran around the house hooting and hollering...in the true spirit of the holiday.  Kaitlyn had Tyson laughing so hard he could hardly catch his breath.  Welcome 2012!

Book of Mormon

Grandpa sharing teaching us about the Book of Mormon.  He showed us a very old edition of the book and let us hold it and look at its pages.

Christmas Fun!

Grandpa had the grandchildren put on gloves and work on his newest patient.

A favorite hang-out.  Tyse would ask to swim up to 3 times each day.

Megan had a thing for Jimmer.  We watched the Kings play every chance we had!

Megan's creative birthday poster!

There was always so much good food everywhere.  Joyce is an excellent cook and makes sure everyone has everything and more that they need,

Christmas Eve 2011

After our traditional cinnamon roll deliveries to the Jenkies and DeAmbrosias, the kids got to open their special Christmas Eve present.  I have always dreamed of buying them all matching Christmas pajamas...this year I finally did it!  I got the super soft pj's they were all envying.  Dont they look great!

SLEEPING POTION?  Tradition says it makes you tired...this year it didn't seem to work it's magic as well.  Lindsey was so excited she had a hard time relaxing.  Almost every night Grandpa would teach the kids from the scriptures at the table.  It was great to see him teach the kids the gospel that he loves.

Christmas Party

The Angel Hand's Christmas Party was held this year at Hollywood Connection.  Tyse, Lindsey and I went and rode rides, ate pizza, watched a magic show, visited with Santa, miniture golfed, and saw the new Chipmunks movie and roller-skated. After 8 hours, I finally was able to pull them away.  We had a great time!
