KBO Reunion

This year I was in charge of the KBO reunion.  With a lot of help from Mom and Kari, we held it at the CLAS Ropes Course.  We at lunch and then divided into groups and rotated through several high and low ropes courses.  We also were able to canoe on the Provo River.  It was a very fun interactive gathering.

Madrigal Choir

Megan auditioned and was selected to be in the Madrigal Choir this year.  They had a special concert at the end of the school year showcasing just this choir.  Megan had a couple of solos which is always fun to watch.  She has a beautiful voice.  I know I am biased because I am her mother, but it is angelic.

At their end of the year Madrigal Party, Megan received the "Most Likely To Be Buried in Their Flip Flops" award.  They know her well.

Bob sent this picture from their "Bob Night" adventures.  Bob took him to a restaurant and ordered him a hamburger and a salad for himself.  Apparently, Tyson thought Bob's salad look better and asked for a trade.  Who would have guessed he would pick salad over a hamburger?

Jolley's Gymnastic Tumbling

Lindsey had her end of year recital at Corner Canyon this year.  She did a great job and has become a good little gymnast.  She can to a round-off, back-handspring, back-tuck.  Way to be flexible, Lindsey!

Animal Rescue

We noticed this baby bird in our window well.  We weren't sure what to do and so we called Diane Thomas who has been know to save birds and care for them at her home.  Matt and Amanda came over and got the bird out of the window well and let the kids see it up close.  I thought they would take it to a rescue but instead just put it in our backyard in a bush.  Considering that it hadn't learned to fly,  I am not sure we did much but prolong it's life just a little longer :/

Miss Denise

Cute creations from the kids I teach.

Dog Bones

BonnieJean brought Tyson over a dog biscuit maker for his birthday.  She wanted to stay and make the first batch together.  Goose thought it was the best birthday present ever!

Good-bye Bounce House

Tyson enjoyed hours of bouncing house fun.  He was with the bounce house from start to finish...he watched inquisitively as the workers folded it up and took it away.

Mother's Day

The bounce house people called and said that pick up would be tough for them Saturday night and they wondered if we would mind keeping the bounce house until Monday.  Wahoo!  So for Mother's Day we blew it up and took out our blankets and pillows and watched a movie on netflix.  Doesn't get much better than that!

Living Planet Aquarium

Scott, Rachel and kiddos met us at the new aquarium.  Megan checked out of school and met us, too.  We all had fun checking out all the exibits, and I loved even more snuggling with little Emmitt!  After they came to the house.  Lydia loves the dog and rabbit.  Tyson always wants to be just like Lydia.  I found him that night in the port-a-crib that I had set up for Lydia's nap.

Fishing

While we were at the zoo, Bruce and Kyle were enjoying the great outdoors.  They caught a lot of fish this day!

Angel's Hands Zoo Day

We were treated to a day at the zoo by Angel's Hands.  We took Scott, Rachel, Lydia and Emmitt along with Tyson, Lindsey and I to enjoy a fun filled day.
