New Year's Eve

Kari invited us over for New Year's Eve.   We munched, played games, and those of us awake, brought in the new year!

Christmas Day

Tyson decided my water bottle wasn't really meant for me but rather for him.  He used it immediately and carried it around all day and throughout the week until I finally was able to hide it from him.

We had a nice day, but we all really missed being in California.  Bruce did his best to try to imitate Joyce's Christmas dinner, but it was lacking and it was just weird to be home with just our crew.  We were however blessed with many nice things and had fun playing with our toys, researching Hawaii, watching Shrek the Musical over and over, and being together! 

Santa

This year Santa brought a single gift for the whole family.  Inside nesting boxes, was a clue that led the family on a treasure hunt throughout the house.  There were riddles, puzzles to solve and gifts (pina colada drink mix, flip flops, snorkel gear, leis and a Mickey Mouse t-shirt for Tyse) along the way that hinted at the destination that Santa was sending us too.  The leis got Megan really excited (she said she was hopeful all along but afraid to say it out loud) and when the final puzzle was put together, we all learned that we would be spending spring break in Hawaii at the Hilton Waikoloa Village.  The kids followed up by looking up the resort photos on line.

Christmas Eve

We gathered at Mom and Dad's home for Christmas Eve.  We did a Christmas photo booth, ate dinner, did the traditional talent show, watched the nativity, and had the visit from Santa.  Tyson was more than happy to watch but wasn't about to get near Santa.

Red Rock Rumble

The Corner Canyon basketball team went to the Red Rock Rumble in St. George.  Bruce, Lindsey, Tyson, Grandma and Grandpa Warner and I went down to cheer Kyle and the team on.  We stayed in the world mark and enjoyed the pool (at least Tyson did for hours on end).  It was a fun get away and especially fun to watch Kyle play.  He got his first JV and Varsity points...with many more to come.

Gymnastics Recital

Lindsey had her Christmas gymnastic recital at her studio.  We followed up with our traditional Frogurt treat!

Madrigals

Megan's Madrigal group sang at Temple Square in the Assembly Hall.  It was so beautiful!  

Volleyball Banquet

Megan and the other senior players presented awards at the end of the year volleyball banquet.  It was a fun night, but so sad to have the season over and our her high school volleyball career come to and end!

Saturday Night Fun!

Tyse, Lindsey and Goose spent the evening playing in the fresh snow!

Gwilliam Boys Doing What They Love!

 Tyson loves playing in the snow.  Thought today he picked a unique place to play!

This is how we spend a lot of time...watching Corner Canyon High School basketball games.  Kyle dressed for all 3 games and so we spend a chunk of time on Tuesdays and Fridays cheering him on!  It is fun to watch him in action.  He has an amazing shot.

Christmas Choir Concert

Lindsey is in her elementary school choir.  She goes early every Tuesday and Thursday to practice.  This was their Christmas Concert.  She sang beautifully (we just need to work on her smile) and loves being with her friends.  Tyson wanted to be a part so after he took his turn on the risers.
