Alaska or Bust!

Kari and Bart invited Kyle and Bruce to come up to their cabin in Alaska to fish for Salmon.  They took of Saturday and flew into Anchorage, took advantage of their 7 hour layover (heavy rain complicated things) with a little shut eye and continued their journey!

Oh, Brother...

Spy Kyle and Lindsey took this picture.  They were so proud of themselves and will probably use it for blackmail in the future.

Play Time

Tyson had the best time playing with Aubrey, Tanner, Parker and Brinley.  They were so good to include him and let him be a part.  They spent hours in the backyard playing in the water and doing this and that inside in between our adventures.

Hiking to the waterfall

We took the cousins on a beautiful hike to a waterfall.  The kids loved climbing the rocks and playing in the waterfall.

Slam Dunk!

Kyle has spent a lot of time at Meyers working on his lateral jump and his dunk.

Bikin'

Planet Play

Erin took the kids to Planet play to golf, mini-bowling, spin zone and lazer-tag.

Scheels

I took the kids to Scheels to ride the ferris wheel and see the animals.  We took advantage of the photo-ops

Tuesday Night Fun

Erin took Parker, Tanner, Aubrey and Lindsey to a Bees game.  Megan and I took Brinley to Young Womens with us and then out for shakes at sonic!

Seven Peaks

Both our families got Seven Peaks passes.  I took them one morning to Salt Lake, Erin took them another to Provo, and we all went 2 more times to Salt Lake!  Lots of fun in the sun and the water!

Temples

Sunday we took Erin and kids up to the hike above the Temple.  On a perfect day you can see down town (where the SL temple is) plus 3 other temples in the valley.  The weather didn't cooperate, but we did point out the general location.  Then we walked around the Draper Temple.

Hair Salon

Aubrey loved doing Megans hair...Megan loved having her hair done.  It was a win-win!

Blue Knights

Lindsey is playing competitive soccer this year with the Blue Knights.  This was her initial soccer camp with her team.

Family Reunion: Island Park

We went to Mesa Falls.  It was beautiful! Later in the day, Grandma, Grandpa, Karol, Scott and I took a group of kids to Johnny Sacks cabin at Big Springs to feed the ducks.  These were my two favorite outings!

Gwilliam Reunion: Chillin' in the evening!

To get Tyse to sleep a movie works well...the cousins came in for a little cuddle time with Tyse.

Gwilliam Reunion: Fishing

 Lindsey's fishing wound.  She ran over to see if Tanner had caught a fish and fell into a hole and cut up her knee.

Gwilliam Family Reunion: Yellowstone Take II

 There were buffalo everywhere.  This one was walking along the side of our car!

On our way to Old Faithful, we had a Gwilliam Geyser go off in our back seat.  We had Parker, Logan and Blake in our backseat.  All of the sudden, I heard Blake and Logan commenting on the situation and moving very quickly.  Poor Parker was "going off" so to speak in geyser terms.  It was horrible.  He was drenched and we spent the next hour cleaning up and his parents had to go buy him clothes from the gift shop.  We were delayed in seeing Old Faithful, but we caught the next eruption.
