Lethargic Lindsey

Lindsey spent the next day in bed while we hung out at the resort swimming, playing and walking around the area.  I did leave some oatmeal on the stove and forgot about it while we were at the pool.  The smoke led the girls to get Jess who came in and saved the day.  Kari and I spend this morning and several others walking along the coastline for our morning walk.  It was so beautiful and a perfect way to start the morning.

Oceanside Beach

We packed a picnic and spent a day at the beach playing in the sand and in the water.  Lindsey did well for a little while and then started to complain about not feeling well and being cold.  She laid on her towel and fell asleep on her towel which confirmed that she wasn't feeling well.  

Mormon Battalion Musuem and San Diego Temple

This museum was amazing.  They had cute interactive program where we all went from room to room learning about that time period in history.  There were a lot of hands on activities for the kids.  It really was amazing.  We followed the museum up with a visit to the temple.

Balboa Park

Science Museum 

St. Francis Chapel

After the Zoo, Kari and I took the little kids to Balboa Park and walked up and down the plaza.  It was really neat to see all the different displays and performers.  The kids loved the science museum and we spent a long time exploring all the in's and out's.

We followed up a fun day with a refreshing swim in the resort pool!
