Greg planned a family gathering in Kanab to hike Buckskin Gulch. We stayed at the Treasure Inn - which didn't really reflect its name. Megan took one look and stated that she was opting to sleep in the car. The slot canyon was beautiful. It is amazing to be inside something so narrow and tall. We were disappointed that the canyon was dry - in the past we have had to wade through several water sections up to our waists. But the kids had fun climbing on the rocks and exploring. Tyson was a trouper. He struggled with the 2 mile walk to and from the canyon. There were lots of bugs, it was hot and out in the sun - he would sign "tired" (sleep) and want to sit down. Bruce had to carry him quite a ways both directions which is quite a feat- but he did well inside the canyon.
We also celebrated Grandma Warners birthday with a surprise party, swam a little, played at the park, and Bruce took Kegan and Kyle golfing.
