Lindsey was thrilled to sign up for soccer this year. After getting her uniform, she wanted me to take a picture of her and Kyle and Megan - all in their uniforms. I think she is happy to be a participant rather than a spectator. She wanted to call everyone she knew to come and watch. I let her call Grandma Warner, but thought all the cousins, aunts and uncles and out of town family might not be able to make it - even thought she thought they would relish the opportunity. Kyle always has a goal to make so many points a game and Lindsey optimistically decided 5 goals was a good goal for her (I don't think she has played a game yet this season that has ended with 5 points total). Bruce suggested she start with one. She did make one goal at one of her first games and got to go to McDonald and buy a happy meal to celebrate. The weather has been so unpredictable that probably 1/2 her games have been cancelled due to rain or snow so she will have a long season and lots of practice. There is a clinic this weekend. She commented that she doesn't need to go because she "already knows how to play soccer". At least she is confident!
